The Dance Meditation Cycle is inspired by the Osho Kundalini meditation but also has roots in Bali where the high priest Ratu Bagus uses shaking for extended periods of time to stimulate bio energy.
We will sit, shake, dance and sit again before repeating this cycle to go deeper.
The emphasis is to awaken our sensate experience, emotional intelligence, relational skills and our mindful, imaginative and spiritual awareness.
We begin by sitting opening our awareness in meditation, then we will shake to awaken the spine and the kundalini energy, this will transcend into dancing before we come back to sitting. The cycle is repeated so we can go deeper into the process the second time.
In each session we surrender our purposes, our prayers, our joys and our concerns. We will sit, shake and dance to the rhythm and fluidity of our essence and from our senses we receive the inner truth and its benefits.
During the Meditation Cycle, we create a place to "just be" with what is within you and moving through you - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Bring a cushion and a blanket to sit on, water to drink and a towel if you sweat.
The dance floor opens at 2:45pm and doors will close at 3:00pm, no entry after then, be early, stretch and warm up.
Turn your phones off and drop the chatter.
We dance bare foot (Clean professional dance footwear allowed)
