This is the Friday night session of the weekend workshop that is open to non weekend participants. It is an opportunity to experience Geash and her work, a taste of the content as well as the beginning of the workshop.
Open Floor Embodied Sexuality dance inquiry into the creative nature that breathes and moves us
How does it feel to inhabit the body with all its senses? What happens when we orient to what brings us most alive?
Open Floor is a resource-based movement practice that aims to bring us into authenticity, self-knowledge and wholeness
The Open Floor Embodied Sexuality program seeks to supplement emotional and somatic intelligence with erotic intelligence – exploring our sexuality as a way of knowing ourselves
We also recognise that this is a dimension of our being that, beautiful and natural as it is, has been burdened with concepts and layered with shame, and that it is work we must enter into with deep sensitivity and care
We aim to create a space of radical inclusivity, for all bodies, genders and sexualities.
It recognises that stepping into erotic wholeness gives us access to the juice of life. It unlocks our creativity and drive, and expands our capacity to savour the richness of the world. It also recognises that this is a dimension of our being that, beautiful and natural as it is, has been burdened with concepts and layered with shame, and that it is work we must enter into with deep sensitivity and care
We commit to creating an inclusive, curious, sex positive environment that honours the experiences each person brings into the room.
This is an invitation to re-member and nourish our erotic intelligence – exploring our unique sexuality as a way of knowing and being more of ourselves.

About Geash Bowler
Through every stage of my life, the wilderness inside my skin has lured me in. I remember beginning to dance as early as I could walk over to play my parents’ vinyl. We had a downstairs rumpus room and that was my early dance floor sanctuary. My body, the beats and that delicious freedom I experience when I become curious. Life offered way more sense when I discovered 5Rhythms in 1999 and then trained with Gabrielle Roth in 2007.
I am an artist and embodied explorer. Born and bred in Aotearoa NZ, I currently live in Byronshire, Australia. I share my work 1:1, in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and in a thriving, courageous dance community.
Curious about all things BODY, I am a qualified Somatic Experiencing® and Neuro Affective Touch® Practitioner, a Sexological Bodyworker® and Somatic Sex Educator® and Path of Love Music Facilitator.
I work from the bottom up and treasure the honour of exploring with folk nervous system regulation and education, erotic education and the wild possibilities for freedom through embodiment. Together we can find, feel and follow the natural intelligence of the body… how it regulates and orients to coherence. Our bodies want to resolve traumas and heal.
As a life-long student I feel blessed to work closely with incredible and generous teachers, all enriching my inquiries into the innate intelligence of the body.
What fascinates me is the living fresh moment, being here, the felt sense of my instinctive animal body. Navigating pathways to open and grow into more connection, comfort, the body being a beautiful place to be.
I also hold close to my heart a passion for restorative justice, sustainable community and awakening alongside each other in a practice of kindness.
