Ecstatic Dance is a freeform practice that invites you to dance like no one is watching to delve under the layers of holding and resistance to set your inner dancer free. Joyous celebration of life on the dance floor, to be in the moment moving which ever way you wish, to be in community as you express and release, ground and uplift your spirit to ecstatic states, alcohol, drug and smoke free.
The Dancing Dhevas community is a group dedicated to dancing with passion and authenticity, there is no talking and yet we get to know each other on the dance floor. To move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy.
Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities in one moment.

This ecstatic dance is outdoors with silent disco style headsets, which are reserved with each ticket.
6:30 to 9pm, Check in closes at 7:00 no entry after then.

We have partnered with Humantix who will donate your booking fees to charity. The money collected from your fees will be supporting indigenous education scholarships in Australia.
Proof of vaccination is not required at outdoor events, our community of dancers are both vaccinated and unvaccinated. Masks are not required but you may choose to wear one if you feel more comfortable. We encourage social distancing where possible, head sets are not to be shared and will be hygienically cleaned before and after the dance.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Request a refund or ticket transfer to another event upto 24hrs before the event starts after which there are no refunds or transfers but you are welcome to transfer it yourself to a friend.

The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.
