A Tribal Spice Voyage with Matrika
Our scheduled guest dj Laila is down with the flu so we are honoured to have Matrika join us on the Dancing Dhevas floor, you are in for a treat!
Matrika will guide your body and soul on a journey into another dimension allowing deep release and healing with her sacred and intentional tribal music. Exploring a wide range of rhythms from Afrobeat to organic house, might even taste a funky flavour! all to create an energetic and magical voyage.
Querida will be your host for the night, holding the circle to open and close the safe container that is Dancing Dhevas. So be at ease and drop into your most deepest urge on the dance floor. Bring your woes and your joy, put them into motion and elevate your spirit. We gather to be in community, to pause and celebrate life together as well as holding paramount each others freedom to dance like no one is watching.
Come dance the dance no one else can dance.
6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.
Please bring a water bottle, put away phones and shoes before entering the dance floor.

No shoes, we dance bare foot to ground and connect with the earth, freeing your feet will free the body as well as the mind.
No talking on the dance floor, the space becomes safe to express and feel into your dance when the mind pauses the need to communicate through words. Keep the space safe for each other.
NEW TO DANCING DHEVAS...
The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.
We have been teaching Conscious dance in WA for 14 years, trained in various modalities and taught numerous classes, workshops and retreats. The essence never changes, the purity and simplicity humbles us each time we step onto the dance floor and we are ever grateful to the community around us and the earth that holds us.
