Series 3
Sunday February 17th 10:00 - 3pm
5 Monday evenings 6:45 to 9pm
Common Thread is an intimate ongoing closed group intending to accompany us through our lives, creating the possibility of spacious dancing support in everyday life. We’re building a community of dancers who are willing to practice dancing deeply, playfully and seriously, seeking to expand our ability to be spontaneous, honest, responsible and real – alive in our bodies, courageous and true in our hearts and generous and receptive in our minds. We will dance but not limited by it, adding other forms of expression to explore how we can be creative and true in our endeavor for freedom and truth.
In this group we go a little deeper, hold each other with tenderness and open hearts, share intimately and form strong bonds of friendship and support.
Dancing with our fears and fantasies, simplicities and shames, strengths and weaknesses as we find ways to be more responsible and free.
Each series will begin with a one day workshop followed by five Monday evening sessions, there is a requirement of prior dancing and a commitment to turn up at each session in the series.
New participants can join at the start of a new series if there are places available, we will begin with 15 places.
